Programming is a great field to get into, but not an easy one. Lambda Mentors combines the powers of experienced developers, interested companies, and enthusiastic learners to grow the St. Louis programming community while helping the broader local community. Here’s the strategy:

• A sponsoring company provides money to donate for the time of
• An experienced developer who spends that time mentoring
• A learner who asks for help and guidance as they move into programming, and
•  A charity that receives the donated money.

Lambda Mentors matches learners with mentors according to the needs of the learners, and introduces both to sponsors who are interested in growing the development community in St. Louis. We like to support Circle of Concern Food Pantry; mentors are also free to choose another charity to support.
