March: Microservice Architectures + Datomic

Posted: March 2, 2014 by marioeaquino in Uncategorized

I am very excited to announce the next meeting, with two talks that are not to be missed. The first is one that will be given by Fred George who is flying into town to speak to us about Implementing Microservice Architectures. Fred has delivered that talk internationally (I’ve seen it myself) and it has some big ideas. The second talk of the night will be on Datomic, given by Alex Miller. Fred’s startup (and my current employer), Outpace, will be sponsoring sushi from Oishi. There will be lots of it. Please come hungry.

As usual, everyone is welcome to bring their own refreshing (adult) beverage. As well, if you would like to bring a non-perishable food donation to the meeting, I will deliver it to the Circle of Concern food shelter in Valley Park the weekend after the meeting.

This meeting offers two fantastic talks. Please consider bringing a friend (or two) with you to the meeting. There will be plenty of food and bright developers for mingling, networking, and sharing insights that make this tech group stand out among all the other meetups in town. My hope is for a packed room. Doors open at 6.

Hope to see you Thursday!
